Advanced features for registered users
How to
- link to a certain picture gallery or search keyword directly?
- make your own pictures show up first?
- offer your own pictures only?
In order to make use of one of these advanced features you need
to update your existing "magic link".
A) The existing (default) magic links
- your users have easy access to the current events and holidays
and to the most important picture categories (Birthday,
Love&Romance...)
- if you set up your own pictures, your users need to click on
the "Specials" button to access them
- our program will automatically select the best language for a
given user

B) Advanced options to call your custom greeting card interface
1. How to link to a certain picture gallery
or search keyword directly?
Do you want to offer your own custom set of galleries? No problem.
Just create a page at your site which links to your favorite
galleries directly.
Simply use another special magic write link to directly point to
a particular picture gallery. This link contains your registered
user ID and the gallery name like so:
http://www.all-yours.net/u/gallery.php?rid=12345678&gal=loveyou1
Replace "12345678" with your own user ID
Replace "loveyou1" with the gallery name you want to link
to
You will see all our gallery names if you right-click the link on
our home page or picture gallery. Right-click the gallery link and
then chose "Properties" to look up our gallery names in
the gallery URL.
If you don't want your
user to access other images on our site just add the &pic=no
parameter as described in item 4.
You can even link to a picture search. Try this:
http://www.all-yours.net/u/search_fip.php?rid=12345678&search=horse
Voila, all the horse pictures and still your custom interface.
Replace "12345678" with your own user ID
Replace "horse" with the keyword you want the search to
come up with
2. New magic write link: Make your own pictures
show up first
If you set up your own postcard pictures at Control
Panel, the default magic link only provides a
"Specials" button on the default entry page to access
these pictures. Many registered users want to have their picture
thumbnails on the first page instead. This cannot be implemented on
the default entry page for technical reasons. However, you can set
up a new magic write link to bypass the default entry page. This
link will make your "Specials" page come up first:

Replace "12345678" with your own user ID
Replace "en" with your preferred language code (see codes
above)
Features of this new entry page:
- your logo and link
- your thumbnails (up to 8)
- easy access to your thumbnail collection if you set up
additional pictures
- access to most All-Yours pictures ("Picture Gallery"
button, "Search" button...)
There are some drawbacks of this feature though. This will be fixed
in a future release of our interface program:
- the program will not automatically select a language
- your users won't have access to cards for current events and
holidays
3. New magic write link: Your own pictures only
Simply use this magic write link to bypass our default entry page
AND hide the button bar at the bottom of your "Step 1"
page:

Replace "12345678" with your own user ID
This will effectively disable all standard cards on your custom
card site.
