All-Yours URLs for registered webmasters:
All-Yours email addresses:
(1) You didn't add your valid user ID to your magic links
Please go to Control Panel and check the
"Email my user ID" option. We will then email your personal
settings and the correct Magic Links.
(2) Your inactive account was removed (database clean-up)
In order to keep our database "clean" we remove all inactive
accounts (no cards written for a period of 4 weeks). We need to do this
because most registered webmasters don't notify us when they remove their
magic links. We also get lots of fake and test registrations. Sorry, we
can't send you a warning before we delete your database entry. Each
clean-up removes hundreds of bogus card "sites" so a warning
would give us lots of email bounces.
-> Try to change your registered settings at Control
Panel. The system will either
- let you in
(your account is still alive)
- ask you to register
(your account was removed, feel free to enter a new registration)
- respond with a "bad password" error
(you mis-spelled your password or your account was removed and your
domain was taken by someone else)
This is part of our privacy policy. We want to
prevent greeting card users from receiving unsolicited advertising emails
from registered webmasters. Therefore we encode the alias names of email
addresses before the logfiles are sent out.
Example: alias@somehost.com is encoded to something like 8273632@somehost.com.
If your log file contains more than one entry from 8273632@somehost.com,
you can be sure that this user wrote/read more than one card. So you can
track whether greeting card recipients write cards themselves.
If you don't need a log file, load our change form from Control
Panel and set the log file mailing interval to 0 days.
Sorry, you can't. But you can set up your own greeting card pictures at Control
Panel and then disable ALL our default cards. See following questions.
Yes, no problem. You can link to galleries and search results directly.
That way you can also limit the galleries that are available to your
visitors. More information
Just access your image setup form at Control
Panel. You will find a detailed explanation there.
Here's a summary how this form works:
- You must specify the URL of an "image directory" on your
server. To this image directory you need to upload all
the files necessary to make your own images available at your custom
card site:
1) thumbnail images
2) full size images
3) thumbnail collection page
Examples:
| Image URL |
Image directory URL |
http://somedomain.com/ |
http://somedomain.com/~someuser/ |
http://somedomain.com/pictures/ownpics/ |
- Do not use our greeting card program's upload feature to upload your
images to our server. This feature is for adding images to paticular
geeting cards only. Your images need to be uploaded to the "image
directory" on your own server!
- After you set up your own pictures, a "Picture Specials"
button will show up in the "Special Features" section of the
greeting card program's entry page. Clicking this button will load a
page with 8 thumbnails. Depending on how many images you set up at
Control Panel, your custom picture settings will overwrite 1, 2, 3...
or all 8 thumbnails on this page.
- Thumbnail files can have any file name. Enter these file names into
our form.
- The full size images must be named as follows:
p[x][yyy].[ext]
| file type |
[x] |
[yyy] |
[ext] |
Example |
| gif |
6 |
000-999 |
gif |
p6000.gif
p6001.gif |
| jpeg |
7 |
000-999 |
jpg |
p7000.jpg
p7001.jpg |
- In addition to setting up 8 custom thumbnails you can also set up a
"thumbnail collection" page with up to 2000 images of your
own. This page can have any file name. Specified it's file name at
Control Panel's picture setup form. A link to your thumbnail
collection will then be displayed on your "Picture Specials"
page.
- Our program won't find your thumbnail collection's full size images
on your server unless
1. they are located in the image directory that you specified at
Control Panel
2. they are named p[x][yyy].[ext] as outlined in the above table.
Example:
You are the webmaster of www.bestwebsite.com and you want to offer 3
gif images (p6000.gif - p6002.gif) and 5 jpg images (p7000.jpg -
p7004.jpg) as easily accessible thumbnails on your "Picture
Specials" page. A thumbnail collection with hundreds of
additional custom images will be made available on your server in
addition. You entered the following information into the picture setup
form at Control Panel:
Image directory on your server: http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics
Your Picture Collection:
file name (no path): mypics.html
page title: Special Postcard Pictures from bestwebsite.com
Our greeting card program will then insert your full size card
pictures like so:
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p6000.gif
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p6001.gif
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p6002.gif
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p7000.jpg
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p7001.jpg
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p7002.jpg
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p7003.jpg
http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/p7004.jpg
and it will also display a link to your thumbnail collection page on
the "Picture Specials" page under the 8 custom thumbnails:
<A HREF="http://www.bestwebsite.com/postcard/pics/mypics.html">

There are several reasons why greeting card recipients don't find there
cards. Please send email to our autoresponder at missing@all-yours.net
You can forward this text as a detailed answer to your users.
No. All-Yours Greeting Cards and the All-Yours Greeting Card interface are
free. That's why we need sponsoring and eBusiness partners to pay for the
servers, bandwidth and manpower required to operate this service. We
started in March 1996 and so far we have found enough partners to pay our
bills.
It depends. If you suggest a useful addition to the greeting card program
we will probably try to implement it for all sites. Your-site-only
features can be implemented if you pay us for the necessary programming.
You can terminate your registration at Control Panel. Although removing
the links to our program will disable the service we would appreciate if
you notify us by sending email to support@all-yours.net.
